ABOUT THIS COLLECTION
Collaboration is in our DNA. We created a series of illustrations that merge everything we love. Each piece is made in handmade paper and finished with embroidery. They all tell a different fantasy; freedom, dreams, and a search for discovery are some of the themes explored by the artists.

We are inspired by touch and thread. We wanted to incorporate thread from the start so our handmade paper is made with strands of loose yarn. Materiality at its core is what we are about.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
Will we ever be able to conquer space and the depth of our minds? I often think about how powerful our brain can be and how much of it is unknown. Like with outer space, there are so many things beyond our comprehension, concepts that seem above our humanity. My piece is a series of images that aim to explore this question: are we really in control? or does something else controls us?

Daniela is a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for understanding human emotions and innovation. She is fascinated with the human mind and creating actionable change. Originally from the tropics, aka Barranquilla, Colombia, but based in Brooklyn, a decision she regrets every winter but reassures every summer.
